Three Early Baroque Recordings

I just added three recordings to the Trombone History Timeline (17th century, 1st half). They feature Ensemble Mousike performing Giovanni Cima’s Sonata a 2 (1610), Musica Fiata performing Giovanni Valentini’s Canzon a 4 (c. 1615), and Lodi Mvsicali Ensemble performing Giovanni Picchi’s Canzon Duodecima (1625). All the works include trombone, of course. But they also all originate from Italian composers whose first names happen to be Giovanni and who are active in the early Baroque period.
