Governor Tyron, on his way from Bethabara to a field outside Bethabara (where he is to hold maneuvers with his army) is accompanied by Moravian musicians, “our musicians leading and playing on the trombones and violins.” Later, at dinner, “several Healths were drunk, each being answered with a loud Hurra and the playing of a verse on the trombones by our musicians” (Gombosi, A Day of Solemn Thanksgiving 9).
