kimballtrombone.com is a personal, scholarly website. It doesn't sell anything, doesn't run ads, and doesn't sell or share your information.

What this site collects, and why.

• Contact form. If you write to Will through the contact form, the site stores your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), and message so he can read and respond. That's the only use.
• Blog comments. If you comment on an article, the name and comment you submit are stored and reviewed before publication.
• Server logs. Like nearly every website, the server keeps routine technical logs (such as page requests and IP addresses) for security and troubleshooting.

What this site doesn't do. No advertising, and no selling or renting of personal information — ever. If a newsletter or email list is offered in the future, joining it will be strictly opt-in; you will never be added to one simply because you wrote in.

Removal. If you'd like a comment or a message you submitted deleted, use the contact form or email will@kimballtrombone.com and it will be taken care of.

Changes. This policy may be updated from time to time; the date above reflects the current version.
