A tenor trombone is made by Johann G. Leudholdt of Dresden and purchased by the Moravian Brethren in North America (possibly Bethlehem, Pennsylvania). At one point the property of the Schoeneck church, it is now housed in a collection of musical instruments owned by the Moravian Historical Society in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, and is considered the oldest surviving trombone known to have been used in the Western Hemisphere (Carter, Trombone Ensembles of the Moravian).
