The nobility enjoy frequent performances by children of the orphanage, who play cornetto, traversa, viola o trombone. These orphanage children also travel to Ferrara, Pistoia, and Lucca, Italy. Their leader, Franciosio, is founder of a school for instruction on wind and string instruments (Reese 546).
