In a series of woodcuts titled The Triumph of Maximilian (also cited in above 2 entries), 2 additional images (Plates 77 and 78) include trombones. The instructions for the engravings read, “After them shall come on horseback Burgundian fifers in the Burgundian colors with bombardons, shawms, and rauschpfeiffen.
