Hans Rottenhammer’s painting, Madonna col Bambino in Gloria con angeli musicanti, bears several similarities to Raphael Sadeler’s engraving, Allegory of the Immaculate Conception (which, in turn, is after a painting by Pietro Candido). An angel playing trombone is featured on the bottom-left of the image (see below image; public domain).
