A valve alto trombone in E-flat with 3 Périnet valves is imported and sold by August Pollmann. It is engraved “August Pollmann’s Light Action New York” and is similar in appearance to offerings by mail-order distributors  Montgomery Ward (see 1895, below) and Sears & Roebuck (see 1897, below) (Libin 97-98; Heyde, Metropolitan).
