I just added the below image and caption to the Trombone History Timeline (17th century, 2nd half). This is the same convent where nuns played trombone during the Baroque period. See this entry from earlier in the century, for example: 1618—Bologna, Italy: Suor (sister) Angela Maria Rugieri brings a trombone and bass viol with her to the convent Santa Caterina (Monson, Disembodied 263).
c. 1690—Bologna, Italy: A decoration in Chiesa della Santa/Corpus Domini convent (also called Santa Caterina), includes a trombone. See below image; special thanks to Maximilien Brisson.
